Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate tutor to join our educational team! The ideal candidate will have experience tutoring or teaching reading, language arts, and/or math. This role involves working with students of various ages including elementary, middle school, and high school to provide personalized instruction. What's in it for you? You set your schedule - choose what days and times work best with your schedule. Our instructional hours are from 4-7pm Mon - Thurs and Saturdays from 10am - 2pm. So we'll take care of all everything else including lesson planning, parent meetings, and clerical/administrative requirements. Qualifications Ideal candidates will be a state-certified teacher with a PEL in Secondary Education (working towards, current, or expired). Ability to work 6-10 hours a week between the hours of 4-7pm Mon-Thur and/or Saturdays from 10:00am - 2:00pm . Proficiency in utilizing learning technology to facilitate instruction and improve student engagement. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to connect with diverse learners. A passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed academically. Higher salary for candidates with the ability to teach additional subjects including ACT/SAT prep.
